PROGRESS REPORT

B767 THROTTLE QUADRANT

Universal has successfully implemented the auto throttle system into the B767 throttle quadrant under development.

A small servo and actuator are employed to engage and advance and retract the throttles. The actuator is driven by the flight parameters extracted from the host simulation program.

The design team will next tackle the automation associated with the speed brake lever.
