Universal is pleased to introduce the CRJ Dual Control Trainer - New for 2007.

The system incorporates realistic artificial feel and centering for ailerons and elevators. Springs, cables, and pulleys, permit the system to respond similarly to controls found in the actual aircraft.

While specifically designed for fixed-based applications, training departments can request an alternate base design which will permit interfacing to 3rd party control loaders.

High fidelity extends from the control wheels to the columns as Universal has designed the columns to look incredibly life like. Custom fabricated column hub.

A simple yet practical approach to feel and centering. In simulating the pitch control, Universal designed the system with springs, cables, and pulleys similar to those found in the real aircraft.

Both the wheels and columns are precisely linked.

An in-line turnbuckle permits the tension to be user adjustable.

Motorized stick shakers are included on each column with emergency shutoff toggle.

Our CRJ chart holder (sold seperately) features a lamp hood protected by a clear window insert.  Its low-power, white LED lamp provides hours of service and is intensity adjustable.

The unique “hands-off” design of the hood quickly and securely holds charts and other paper.  A weighted caster rolls with the paper and automatically adjusts to hold it in place.

The chart can be angled to suit the pilot’s needs. Unit can be mounted on wheel or anywhere else in the cockpit as needed. Unit sold separately. Request Chart Quote
