CHART HOLDERS - Type Specific
Universal manufactures its very own chart holders for a variety of aircraft models.
While the hoods appear to look and operate like the ones found in the actual aircraft, they do differ. All our chart hoods incorporate the same weighted castor technology. Within the hoods are two small springs attached to steel castors. As paper is inserted, the castors lift upward and roll. Once inserted, the castors fall downward applying pressure to the paper and holding it in place.
This unique “hands-off” design of the hood quickly and securely holds charts and other paper. No need to use two hands while the opposite hand lifts clip hoods.
